Carta de la Unión General de Trabajadores y Transporte Irlandesa al Secretario General de la OIT, en la que se manifiesta que la situación de represión en Chile es muy grave y no muestra signos de acabar, ejemplificando con los siguientes casos; la huelga por los mineros del Norte de Chile que fue aplastada por La Junta arrestando más de 100 sindicalistas, el 20 de Octubre fueron allanadas las oficinas de los 7 más importantes sindicatos en Chile y finalmente, no ha habido investigación respecto al destino y paradero de los 2500 detenidos desaparecidos arrestados por la DINA.
